export emacs='/usr/bin/vim'

Sure thing. Don't know when I will explode. Atleast navigating within a file is not that bad thanks to bash :)

Change is good

I always thought that the I would never stop using emacs. But I had to when the pain in my hands became persitent. And now it has actually disappered (the pain, i.e.).
While I do have to leave the editor now to do other things, at least the editing part has become considerably better. Do one thing and do it well :P

Re: Change is good

The change is feeling good. Having to exercise my brain that much bit more :)

You might want to try http://opal.cabochon.com/~stevey/blog-rants/effective-emacs.html for Effectively using Emacs.
