|Emacs with Vim

I did this today
[ ~ ] $ vim ~/.emacs
Hmmph. What if I do
C-x C-f /etc/vim/vimrc ?
C:> notepad C:\Docume~1\Sridhar\.emacs
My act was blasphemy. Yours is retrograde.
Mixing two fanatical religions is a dangerous thing !
The other shitty things I have done when I was not allowed to do a:
yum install emacs
Sure thing. Don't know when I will explode. Atleast navigating within a file is not that bad thanks to bash :)

Change is good
I always thought that the I would never stop using emacs. But I had to when the pain in my hands became persitent. And now it has actually disappered (the pain, i.e.).
While I do have to leave the editor now to do other things, at least the editing part has become considerably better. Do one thing and do it well :P

I did not even open Emacs, let alone 'kill' it :P
